  • Introduction

    Study of Tajan River fish fauna biodiversity: Most fishes of the southern Caspian Sea basin are anadromous or inhabitant in rivers. Tajan river is one of the most important once that dominant fish inhabit in this river. All ecological zones for fish habitat diversity exist in this river such as trout zone, Barbel zone, Gerayling zone and Bream zone. There is about 33 fish species in this river.

    Aims and Scope:
    1.Identification of Fish Species in Tajan River
    2. Determination of Fish Species Distribution
    3. Determination of Fish Species Structure
    4. Biodiversity and Richness of Fishes in Ecological Zones
    5. Study of the Potential of Tajan River Reservoir as Natural Inhabitant for Endangered Fish Species
